25 Feb Spring Activities in Lake Havasu City!
Spring has finally sprung in Lake Havasu! If you’ve been wanting to drive into Lake Havasu City to see if it’s the right place for you to call home, now is the time! We are experiencing lovely 70 degree temperatures, which means it’s the best time to experience all of Lake Havasu’s exciting Spring-time activities.
Check out SARA Park!
SARA stands for Special Activities and Recreation Area. This is a huge regional park that offers great views and even has access to Lake Havasu. Many events are held here year-round, but in the Springtime it’s a great place for mountain biking, hiking, playing catch, and there’s even a great dog park there called Dylan’s Park. If you don’t own a bike, but you want to bike around the city or check out a trail in town, Lake Havasu City also has a few bike rental facilities that offer both mountain bikes and beach cruisers.
Get a tan at one of the Lake Havasu beaches!
There are a handful of great beaches to check out in Lake Havasu, but the Rotary Community Park beach is a great place to spend a day. This is a large park with beach access that also has shaded seating areas, BBQs, playgrounds, restrooms, walking paths, and volleyball courts. You can also go for a swim or launch a kayak and once you’re done with your water activities, there are also fire pits to relax by in the evenings.
Bring your boat to Bridgewater Channel!
While the rest of the Southwest may still be experiencing chilly temperatures, the weather here in Lake Havasu is ideal for boating! Bridgewater Channel is one of the most popular spots for boating in Lake Havasu. You are even allowed to kayak or paddleboard here, as it is a no wake zone. The view from the water is great as well, you can see the beautiful mountains nearby and the waterway has parks and tourist attractions on either side.

Lake Havasu is also home to a few breweries with great menus. Barley Brothers Brew House serves their own beer menu along with a delicious food menu.
